LRC 9 (Clm-10k/3L, 5.5f) #3 STAR ENTRY (7-2) is 2-for-2 at LRC and those wins were at this distance. He just won July 1 and Periban is trying to strike while the iron is hot. Baze rides back and the early-pressing type is a solid contender in his current form. #5 Catbernay (2-1) is back in for a tag for the recently hot Payeras/Pineda team. He has won at this trip before but is 0-for-3 at LRC. #2 Edinburgh Express (3-1) drops below his claimed price by Wong. This is his second start on regular dirt and he can contend here if he runs one of his better races. #6 Perfecto Amor (5-2) exits a local allowance win at 1,000 yards.
