Comments: #4 Queen Picasso (5-1) chased from second and prevailed by a half-length in her turf route bow and the runner-up was a next-out winner. Clement’s $285k purchase cuts back and should be forwardly placed under Jose Ortiz. #1 Lady Beth (7-2) pressed the pace and kicked away in her all-weather route bow at GP and that race was originally scheduled for turf. Chad Brown shows a profit with his first turf starters and Prat has been winning races with this outfit recently. #2 Love Appeals (6-5) stalked and scored by a neck in her 7.5T bow and was an even fourth as the beaten favorite in the Sanibel Island at that same distance second time out. She cut back to six panels at Aqueduct last time and kicked away after stalking the pace. She reconnects with Joel Rosario and should work out a decent tactical trip.
