Horse Comments:
#1 Mose Perfect (4-1) is on top of his game. He dropped into a local $10k affair at this distance on July 9 and battled on the pace and was second best. He wired the field as the favorite in a local flat mile $10k claimer on July 22, and he pressed from the inside post and won again as the chalk at one mile on Aug. 2. Mike Pino is his new trainer and he is a 30% conditioner, and sharp speed rider Paco Lopez takes the call. He is the inside speed at a speed friendly distance and he could easily make it three straight wins.
#5 Group Ticket (2-1) was up the track as the beaten favorite in a flat mile dirt race at Delaware Park on July 24. That ended his four-race exacta streak and he is 3-for-6 at Parx and 4-for-9 at this distance. His new rider Mychel Sanchez wins races with Jamie Ness, and the morning line favorite figures to stalk the pace.
#4 I Feelucky Tonite (3-1) exits a show finish in a local dirt sprint and that was his fifth consecutive top three effort. He likes this course and distance and owns competitive numbers. He reunites with his winning rider Dexter Haddock.
#3 Transcendental (6-1) exits a neck defeat in a $10k extended sprint at Ellis Park and that was his second strong outing from as many starts on fast dirt. He has a recently hot jockey-trainer team in his corner and he handles longer distances.
