Fast main track and firm turf course. Three front running winners on dirt (6f, 9f, 6f). On the turf course, a stalking favorite graduated in the 6f opener, a 4-1 stalker tallied at one mile, an 8-1 stalker won at 8f, stalking favorite Princesa Moche (PER) chased from second and won the Megahertz (G3) by a neck at one mile, and a stalking favorite earned her diploma from the outside post in the 6.5f finale.
Hat trick for Kazushi Kimura (2 dirt wins). Juan Hernandez guided home two winners. Bob Baffert saddled two dirt sprint winners including impressive allowance winner Cornucopian.

Grade 2 San Pasqual (9f): Expected front runner Pony Express scratched and that changed the race flow. Westwood ($8.40) made the lead from the outside post, turned away Getaway Car, and won by 2 3/4 lengths. Getaway Car was 7 1/2 lengths clear of show finisher Bartholdi. Ghazaaly and beaten favorite Midnight Mammoth also ran. Kazushi Kimura rode the winner for John Shirreffs. Fractions: 24.24, 48.42, 1:12.32, 1:37.38, 1:50.52.
Grade 3 Megahertz (8T): Going Lucky got pace pressure from race favorite Princesa Moche (PER) but they were not going fast. Going Lucky weakened late and Princesa Moche ($7) held off my top choice Vibez to prevail by a neck. Will Then stalked the pace and was another neck back in third, and Public Assembly lacked running room in the stretch and ended up an even fourth. Going Lucky finished 5th and Sigh No More (IRE), My Perfect Wave, Baltic Fire, and Violeta M also ran. Mirco Demuro rode the winner for Doug O’Neill. Fractions: 23.73, 48.63, 1:13.16, 1:24.57, 1:36.09.
