Check out my Friday (4-10-26) Keeneland Race 7 analysis below.
KEE 7 (G Limestone, 3yo filies, 5.5T) – Post Time 4:12 PM ET
Primary – #10 SNOW FACE PRINCESS, 4 Quiet Street
Secondary – #5 Light Up Won, #9 Cy Fair, #8 Lennilu
Horse Comments:
#10 Snow Face Princess (6-1) added blinkers, moved to turf July 2025, and beat a next-out winner in a MSW affair at 5.5T, and she finished a neck in front of Cy Fair in the Bolton Landing in August. She sold at auction for $775k after the Bolton Landing and she finished a length behind Quiet Street in the Untapable at KD (6.5T) for her new trainer Steve Asmussen. The returnee removes blinkers and reconnects with her winning Bolton Landing pilot Flavien Prat.
#4 Quiet Street (10-1) rallied to win her first two turf sprints for Bill Mott including the Untapable at KD second time out. She stretched out and got no luck at the draw (post 10) when last seen in the Miss Grillo (G2) October 2025, and she rallied for the show in a respectable effort (runner-up next-out stakes winner). She graduated at this distance last summer and will try to get involved late for the productive Alvarado/Mott team.
#5 Light Up Won (8-1) moved to turf and looked good winning the Sweet Life at 6-1 odds Feb. 7 and that was her first start since June 2025. Antonio Fresu sticks with Doug O’Neill’s $265k City of Light filly and I like her tactical speed.
#9 Cy Fair (9-5) went 3-for-4 in turf sprints last year and her only setback was a neck defeat in the Bolton Landing last summer. Following that loss, she won the Algonquin and G1 BC Juvenile Turf Sprint. Irad Ortiz, Jr. got to know her last time and I like her running style versatility.
#8 Lennilu (9-2) is 5-for-7 with a show finish and her only off the board finish was a 7th of 12 from post 11 in the G1 BC Juvenile Turf Sprint last fall. She returned with a nice stakes victory in the Melody of Colors at 5T March 22 and she did her best work late.
