Check out my Saturday (4-11-26) Keeneland Race 11 analysis below.

KEE 11 (MSW, 3yo, 8.5T) – Post Time 6:20 PM ET
Primary – #6 WEST END KID, #4 Heeere’s Johnny
Secondary – #3 Royal Guard, #11 Coordinator

Horse Comments:

#6 West End Kid (9-2) was 19-1 in his 8T debut at GP Feb. 8 and he rallied to finish a respectable 4th of 12 (beaten 1.25 lengths). William Walden is 29% with second timers and 33% with horses adding blinkers, and Tyler Gaffalione hops aboard the $350k son of Twirling Candy.

#4 Heeere’s Johnny (7-2) is still a maiden after five starts. He completed the exacta in three turf routes last year including stakes placings in the G3 With Anticipation and G2 Pilgrim. He was a respectable 5th of 14 from the inside post when last seen in the G1 BC Juvenile Turf. He got faster as the year progressed in 2025 and has been working steadily in NY for this engagement. He adds lasix and Javier Castellano stays put.

#3 Royal Guard (5-1) returns from a layoff of 7+ months for Brad Cox and he reconnects with his debut pilot Ortiz, Jr. He was 3rd in his bow 7f bow in the slop (off the turf), and was bumped at the start and ended up 4th of 10 (beaten 12 length) in a turf route second time out. He adds lasix and sports three straight turf works for this.

#11 Coordinator (4-1) is a Kingman FTS and he is 18% with debut turf runners. Chad Brown is 15% debut turf and Prat wins races with this outfit, and he worked a half-mile from the gate March 27.
