Horse Comments:
#7 I Am Rue (3-1) won back-to-back local sprints in February and March including a romping extended sprint score. She stretched out and stalked, led, and weakened to third at a mile and seventy yards April 6. She turns back and has struck twice at this distance, and an outside stalking trip is expected.
#2 Little Cocoa Bean (7-2) went all the way in a $7.5k/2L sprint late last year and Josue Arce claimed her that day. She aired by 6 3/4 lengths for her new connections March 2 (show finisher next-out winner), and set the pace and was a clear, distant third as the favorite at 6.5f March 24. This is her third start off the bench and she has won twice at 6f, and her new rider Paco Lopez should have her on the engine early.
#3 Rock Me Gently (4-1) is 3-for-18 with a dozen minor awards and this is her first start since October 2025. She gets in light with sharp 5-pound apprentice Yedsit Hazlewood and her trainer shows a profit with this type of layoff runner.
#5 Ringer Card (5-1) dueled and won a local PA-bred sprint Jan. 12 and landed the show in her next two outings. She stalked wide from the outside post and weakened in a disappointing effort March 13. She should be forwardly placed and might bounce back at playable odds.
