Simply Joking was clearly second best and Seismic Beauty weakened to third in her first start since November 2025. Lavender Love stumbled, weakened, pulled up, and walked off. Lemon Muffin scratched. Possibly Perfect (10T): The Mizen Queen (IRE) set a pressured pace at 14-1 and fought hard throughout. Kentucky Gal ($18.60) sat in mudpack from the outside post and outfinished fellow stalker Innovative to score by a nose, and The Mizen Queen was another head back in third. The latter bumped my top choice Resolve (4th) in late stretch but there was no change to the original order of finish after an objection. Hey Jessie (5th), Dreaming of Abba (6th), Ulysses Rose (7th), Watchtower (8th), and Cailin Dana (9th) also ran. Antonio Fresu rode the winner for Phil D’Amato. Fractions: 23.90, 47.06, 1:11.78, 1:36.23, 2:00.14.

Affirmed (8.5f): Secured Freedom ($4.60) was best as the favorite. He was patiently handled in midpack, rallied wide, and won by 1 3/4 lengths. One More Freud sat behind Secured Freedom, followed that one, and rallied for the place, and Constitution Andi was along for the show at 38-1 odds. Decisive Win dueled early, stalked, took a short lead, and weakened to fourth. Litmus Test stalked the pace and finished 5th. Mo Koko battled on the pace and faded to 6th, and Court of Appeal trailed throughout as a 64-1 outsider. Joel Rosario rode the winner for Tim Yakteen.
