#8 Supernal (9-2) switched surfaces, stalked wide from an outer post, and was second by a length in a similar dirt sprint at SA May 25. He reunites with Armando Ayuso and this is his third start off a long layoff. He likes this distance (6 2-2-1).
#2 Gypsy Tears (5-1) closed wide from post 10 in a nice 6f win at SA April 5. He is 2-for-3 at LRC and 2-for-4 at this distance, and he drilled a 5f bullet for this June 21.
#9 Devil Be Me (5-1) exits back-to-back abbreviated sprint wins at Los Al. He stalked the pace and landed the place in a similar local sprint last September. He should be right up on the pace at a speed friendly distance.
#10 I’m a Bad Boy (7-2) drops in class and returns to the state bred ranks in his second start off a long layoff. He won a pair of CA-bred dirt sprints in 2024 and missed by a nose in the local King Glorious, and won a flat mile turf race last year. He needed his OC-50k/1x sprint return June 6.
