#3 Anyway (5-2) is in good form for Linda Rice. He finished 3 3/4 lengths behind Pretty Boy Miah (see race 1) when landing the place at 8f April 25, and he cut back to 6f and scored as the favorite May 15. He landed the place in a similar local extended sprint June 7. He reconnects with his winning debut pilot Manny Franco (6-for-15 w/Rice) and I like his early-pressing versatility.
#1 Mo for the King (8-5) fired trifecta shots in five of his last seven starts. He aired by 9+ lengths under Friday’s rider Flavien Prat at 6f in the mud March 12. He was 6th of 8 as the beaten favorite April 17, and he chased the pace and finished a neck behind Anyway in a clear show finish as the beaten chalk at 7f June 7.
#5 Blue Roof Beau (4-1) was 5-2 in his 6f debut at AQU May 10 and dueled from the inside post and graduated by 3 3/4 lengths. Profitable, 26% sprint rider Jose Lezcano stays aboard and he should be right up on the pace.
#4 Fireballin (5-1) cuts back a furlong in his third start off the bench and Tyler Gaffalione is 2-for-10 with Mike Maker. He has a versatile running style.
