#4 Cocktail Kisses (6-1) switched from turf to synthetic and rallied to miss by a head May 27, and she won her last two local routes by a neck as the favorite. The sharp filly should get pace to chase.
#5 Time for an Angel (2-1) won four of her last seven local starts. She wired the field at this course and distance last September, and she went all the way in two of three sprints as the favorite this year. She stretches back out and is probably the one to reel in for a productive jockey-trainer team.
#3 Liberty Belle (4-1) shipped to this oval, stretched back out, and stalked the pace and missed by a neck in a similar local route July 7. She is 0-for-10 with four minor placings on all-weather ground and might be best used underneath.
#9 I’m Blushing (7-2) moves from turf to synthetic and might work out a nice trip behind honest fractions. She stalked and scored in a local flat mile race June 2 and that was her first outing since 2024. She was out of the trifecta in her last three starts and might bounce back on the surface switch.
