Horse Comments:
#5 Vronti (5-2) exits a runner-up finish as the chalk at this distance on turf at SAR (OC80k/2x). She broke from an outer post and rallied for the place in that slow early/fast late event. Umberto Rispoli rides for Graham Motion and she probably fits with this group.
#6 Resolve (5-1) is 2-for-20 with nine minor awards on turf. She went last-to-first as the favorite under Saturday’s rider Joel Rosario at 9T May 25 (OC-50k/1x). She was 4th of 9 in the Possible Perfect at 10T in June and 6th of 7 in the local Osunitas at 8T last time. She landed the place in her lone attempt at this distance.
#9 Kentucky Gal (5-1) rallied to win the Possible Perfect by a nose at 8-1 odds June 12. That was her second start of the year and she sports four local turf works for this. She was 5th of 10 in this race last year and might have a bit more to offer for Antonio Fresu and Phil D’Amato.
#3 Innovative (6-1) stalked the pace and missed by a nose in the Possible Perfect last time and that was her longest test to date. She won a local flat mile turf race last summer and drilled a local 5f turf bullet for this Aug. 9.
#11 The Mizen Queen (12-1) set a pressured pace and finished a close third in the Possibly Perfect last out. Juan Hernandez takes the call and she sports four local moves for this.
