#6 Suntory Time (7-2) stalked and graduated by 4 lengths as the favorite in a CA-bred Mcl-50k affair at 8T April 17. She was last of 6 (beaten 2 lengths) in a CA-bred OC-20k/1x turf route May 31, and she broke slow from an outer post and rallied for the show vs. this kind in a local 8T affair July 23. Joel Rosario takes the call and she worked 5f for this Aug. 13.
#5 Green Zone (4-1) shows up in a similar local 8T spot July 23 and she stalked from post 10, led, and was second best at 23-1 odds (Suntory Time 3rd). Hector Berrios got to know her last time and she gets a better post and owns a versatile running style.
#9 Ziggity Zag (5-1) was 3-1 in her 7.5T bow at IND (MSW – June 2025), and she stalked from second from the inside post and prevailed by a neck (runner-up next-out winner). Brian Lynch’s filly shows four local moves for this including a 4f gate move Aug. 15 (48.20 – 31/112).
#11 Birkin Girl (5-1) hit the board in 4 of her last 7 starts. She held the place behind a next-out winner Feb. 26, and she split a pair of next-out winners in a neck defeat in a $25k claimer at 8T at Horseshoe Indy June 6. She shipped to DMR and was 6th of 10 (beaten 3 lengths) as my top choice in a Str-OC-50k turf route July 30. Umberto Rispoli got to know her last time and she might show more in her second local spin.
AE #12 Lil’s Coffee (3-1) scratched as my second choice on July 30 and worked 4f in 49.20 (68/91) at DMR on Aug. 9. She was re-claimed by Doug O’Neill May 9 and she returned to turf, chased the pace, and missed by a half-length in a clear runner-up finish at 8T May 24. Emisael Jaramillo wins races with this barn and she should be forwardly placed if she gets in from the also-eligible list.
