#5 Boogie Woogie (7-2) fired trifecta shots in 9 of 10 local sprints. She set the pace in her last nine starts and won two of those races. She is probably the one to catch for a productive jockey-trainer team.
#6 Shez Untappable (5-2) finished in the top three in 7 of her last 10 sprints at PID. She hit the board in both starts this year and might move up in her third start off a long layoff.
#7 Au Courant (3-1) ran well in both local all-weather sprints vs. MSW foes including a clear victory as the even money favorite July 6. She was 109-1 in a turf route at CNL last time and ended up 8th of 11. She is back in a preferred synthetic sprint and figures to stalk wide from the outside post.
#1 Xerces (9-2) turns back in distance in her second start after the claim. She was part of the trifecta in 10 of 12 local attempts.
