Horse Comments:

#3 Sharp Ride (2-1) returns to dirt and she is 2-for-3 with a runner-up finish at 6f. Sharp trainer Dean Pederson is 6-for-18 with horses moving from turf to dirt and she sports three local moves for this. Abel Cedillo takes the call and he guided her to a dirt sprint win at SA last year.

#5 Young Love (4-1) exits back-to-back local prominent throughout turf sprint wins including a local score as the favorite July 26. She returns to dirt in her third start after a layoff for the productive Juan Hernandez/Peter Miller team.

#1 Lady Gregory (5-2) is a surface switcher with a good overall record on dirt (11 4-2-3). Her winning rider Hector Berrios strings along and he is 3-for-9 with Jeff Mullins recently.
