#4 Bear’s Board (3-1) was 9-2 in her Mcl-30k dirt sprint bow at CNL and she chased from second and held the place behind a runaway winner. Doug O’Neill is her new trainer and she adds blinkers and shows three straight local gate moves for this engagement. Dam has produced two winners from three starters.
#5 Dragon Kat (6-1) carved out above par fractions and weakened to 5th of 8 in her local 5.5f debut. She is fast enough to make the early lead and will take them as far as she can.
#10 Little Tinker Elle (4-1) earned improved pace ratings second time out in a $50k affair at CD June 18. She dropped to $32k for J. Kent Sweezey on Aug. 7 and she had a troubled start and faded after chasing the pace as the beaten favorite. She should impact the pace under her new rider Ricky Gonzalez.
#3 Mashie Niblick (5-1) was 29-1 in her MSW bow at 7.5T and she was 5th of 9 (beaten 10 lengths), and the runner-up was a next-out winner. Steve Miyadi is her new trainer and she sports a pair of local works for this. Ruben Silvera is 1-for-7 with this barn and six of those runners finished in the top three.
