Horse Comments:
#2 Lovin’ On the Run (5-2) won twice at the $40k/1x level this year and both of those victories were at this course and distance. She went turf-to-dirt in both of those wins and that angle is present again. She should be finishing under her new rider Edwin Maldonado.
#8 Stay in Line (5-1) completed the exacta in both local attempts and she handles this trip (6 2-2-0). She drew outside the other speed and should impact the pace under her winning pilot Welfin Orantes.
#5 Wishtheyallcouldbe (3-1) exits a clear, distant runner-up finish vs. this kind at DMR. She has stuck at Los Al before and was part of the trifecta in all of her starts at 6.5f (8 3-4-1). She reunites with her winning rider Tiago Pereira and a stalking trip is expected.
#1 Chai (8-1) finished 4th of 7 in a fast dirt sprint at DMR on Nov. 16. This is her third start off a layoff and she might be able to hit the board at a price.
