#3 Juris Doctor (3-1) was the betting favorite in all four turf routes and he scored once and landed the place three times. Axel Concepcion got to know him last time and Michael Stidham shows a profit with horses adding blinkers for the first time. He owns quality late pace ratings.
#6 Montador (2-1) is getting faster for Michael Stidham and he gets some class relief after finishing 5th of 10 (beaten 1.75 lengths) in the Grade 3 Commonwealth Turf. He reconnects with his winning rider Brian Hernandez, Jr. and his positional speed should lead to a good trip.
#4 Joejoe Go (3-1) ran well in his last two allowance turf routes including a neck victory in the entry level ranks on Nov. 23. Jose Ortiz takes the call.
