DMR 8 (G2 Sorrento, 6f)
Primary – #4 MY GIRL RED, #2 September Secret
Secondary – #1 Get On the Bus
Wagers: #4 to win, Exacta 4/1-2, Exacta 1-2/4

Comments: #4 My Girl Red (3-1) was a strong debut winner at 4.5f June 14. Keith D does not typically crank out debut winners, so it takes a good one to score at first asking for his barn. Prat rides back and she shows three solid local moves for this. #2 September Secret (2-1) showed marked improvement on the drop second time out. She took some money in her CA-bred MSW bow but raced wide from post 10 and never got involved. She tracked the pace in a local $50k state bred affair July 24, and she romped by 7+ lengths as the favorite. Prat rode last time but he opts to stick with My Girl Red in this spot. Cedillo hops aboard for Miller. Debut runners can win these juvenile stakes sprints, and #1 Get On the Bus (5-1) is worth considering for O’Neill. The $340k daughter of Uncle Mo had some gaps in her early works, but has been in steady training since late May, and 2 of her 4 local moves were from the gate. The inside post can be intimidating for inexperienced horses.
