Comments: #5 Zee Drop (6-1) has only raced twice this year and her close 4th in a local flat mile affair Aug. 14 was a step in the right direction. Her best career effort was a late running local optional claiming turf victory at 8.5f last summer. She has a realistic shot at fair odds for the profitable Cedillo/D’Amato team. #4 Pulpit Rider (5-1) exits a nose victory in the Solana Beach vs. local state bred turf routers. She is back on top of her game and fits with these. #2 Lady Prancealot (5-2) over performed when finishing 4th in the Yellow Ribbon (G2) Aug. 8, and the class of the field might run over these. The pace was very slow and she did not have a smooth journey. I like the rider switch to Rispoli and she can mow these down if she gets some pace help. #8 Raymundos Secret (2-1) might have a tactical edge. The early-pressing filly is 4-for-6 in turf routes, and she stalked and got up late Aug. 14. I have two concerns. Her only two career losses came in her two graded stakes efforts, and all of her wins were at one mile. Prat stays put and this is hardly the toughest graded turf route.
