Kathryn Crosby Stakes – Winner: Never Be Enough ($14.80)
This race figured to be won by a patient runner due to the presence of multiple speed types. She’s Our Charm set a fast pace and the chasers were in hot pursuit. Cordiality made the first run and had the lead in the lane, but Colonial Creed and Never Be Enough had better late energy. The latter finished fastest of all and won by a length under Tiago Pereira. Colonial Creed settled for the place and Cordiality just held 3rd over Ellie Arroway, She’s Our Charm, and Muchly. Proud Emma trailed throughout.

Let It Ride Stakes – Winner: Strongconstitution ($7.20)
Dominant Soul and Jammers Justice, a pair of outsiders, set a fast pace, and Strongconstitution saved ground in a perfect stalking position behind the pair. The two long shots got tired in the final furlong and Strongconstitution waited inside for room, slipped through, and got the jump on the closers and held on by a head. Heywoods Beach sat a comfortable inside trip near the back, swung out in the lane, and finished nicely to just miss. Lane Way stalked from midpack and could not quite go with the top two late in a solid show finish. I’m Leaving You had a troubled start and actually rallied to a short lead in the lane before weakening late in a 4th place finish. Not a bad effort for a 25-1 shot. Lure Him In went last to 5th, and was followed by Goalie, Rookie Mistake, Margot’s Boy, Dominant Soul, and Jammers Justice.
