Los Alamitos Race Course
LRC 5 (G3 Bayakoa, 8.5f) #6 Proud Emma (9-2) goes turf/dirt and is probably going to stalk outside, which is frequently a winning path at Los Al. She ran last in her last pair and both can be forgiven. She did not pick up her feet in either of her two turf starts, and she was overmatched in the 4-horse Zenyatta (G2) Sept. 27. She has struck twice at this distance and shared the win with #5 Message (7-2) in the restricted Tranquility Lake at DMR Aug. 28. She is not the most likely winner but she figures to offer more value than the other main contenders.
