SA 5 (G2 San Pasqual, 9f) #2 Idol (9-5) ran well in all four starts and the gelded son of Curlin still has upside. He earned a strong late pace rating in an entry level score at CD at 9.5f Nov. 8, and shipped to SoCal and finished a close 2nd in the San Antonio (G2). His tactical speed should lead to a good trip under his winning rider Saez, and this distance looks just about right.
