SA 3 (G3 Tokyo City, 12f) #3 Tizamagician (4-5) seems to hold a class edge on paper and is probably better than these. He set the pace and held 2nd behind runaway winner Cupid’s Claws in this event last year. He should be part of the pace along with #5 Zestful (5-2).
SA 8 (G3 Kona Gold, 6.5f) #4 Brickyard Ride (3-5) is a fleet CA-bred with four wins in his last five starts. He ran away with the Cal Cup Sprint Jan. 16, and was equally as impressive in the San Carlos (G2) March 6. He is 5-for-6 at SA and might not look back.
