Echo Eddie Handicap – Winner: Brickyard Ride ($5.20)
Brickyard Ride was sharp throughout and back on top of his game in this CA-bred stakes dash on the main track. He was clear early under Juan Hernandez and this race was over before it began. He widened throughout and cruised home by 4+ lengths over my top choice Colt Fiction. Fashionably Fast was best of the rest in 3rd. Loud Mouth and Jamming Eddy were next, and Whooping Jay pulled up late and walked off. The winner competed his six panel journey in 1:09.34.

Possibly Perfect – Winner: Rideforthecause ($16.00)
Strong favorite Dogtag seemingly had this one wrapped up. She chased 25-1 outsider Kuora (PER) through tepid splits, and she took over at the one mile mark and was well on her way to victory with Rispoli in the saddle, but Rideforthecause stalked the pace under Mario Gutierrez and was never far back, and she kept grinding away in the lane and got up in the late stages to score by a head. Dogtag let this one slip away as the 1-2 choice, and Neige Blanche (FR) made a late run to secure the show. Go Big Blue Nation rallied mildly for 4th and was followed by Lady Noguez, Catch the Eye, Kuora, and Dynapower.
Affirmed (G3) – Winner: The Chosen Vron ($5.20)
Jimmy Irish and Defunded battled early, and the latter took over at the six furlong mark and looked strong at that point. The Chosen Vron was patiently handled under Rispoli and he came after the leader in the lane, and those two pulled well clear of the rest. The Chosen Vron gradually wore down Defended and pulled clear late to score by a length and a quarter. Defunded ran too good to lose and was eleven lengths clear of his stablemate Classier. The latter figured to attended the pace but stumbled at the start from the inside post and flattened out under Prat after making a middle move. He was fourteen lengths clear of Mr. Impossible, and Jimmy Irish was the distant trailer. The final time for 8.5f was 1:44.01.
