LRC 8 (Clm-50k, 6f) #5 BOCHOMBO (4-1) ran well in all three dirt sprints last year. He returned with a turf sprint win March 18, faltered in his next two turf sprints, and returns to dirt. He puts blinkers back on and should attend the pace. His stablemate #4 Saffa’s Day (5-2) returns to preferred dirt footing in his second start after a layoff. Vazquez is riding well at the current stand and the 4yo gelding does some of his best work at this trip. #2 Commander Khai (9-2) is a good fit at the level but I am not sure about the turf sprint specialist on this footing (0-for-2 on dirt). #6 Solo Animo (7-2) captured his last three starts at one mile. This is his first outing in half a year and he might be using this sprint as a prep for an upcoming route at DMR. Wagers: #5 to win, Exacta Box 4-5, Trifecta 4-5/2-4-5-6/2-4-5-6
