Race 4: $100,000 Abundantia Stakes (5F, Turf, Fillies & Mares 3yr’s Old +)
#9 – Static Fire (5-1): Exits from Keeneland with a win over the dirt (6F) back on October 13th. The daughter of Speightster has won over both surfaces (1-for-3 over the turf and 2-for-2 over the dirt) and has run on four tracks in five races. Brian Lynch must like this one and he wins these non-graded stakes at a 27% clip. #6 – Miss J McKay (2-1) is 1-for-2 over this course and has been laid up since September 24th where she finished eighth of 11 in a non-graded stake at Pimlico. She runs well off the layoff, gets reunited with Tyler Gaffalione and won this race last year. Lot to like here but she’ll be coming from the back of the pack.
