Check out my Keeneland free pick for Saturday (4-15-23) below.
KEE 9 (G3 Lexington, 8.5f) #5 FIRST MISSION (3-1) missed by less than a length in his sprint bow, and stretched out and romped second time out. He earned a solid number last time and figures to chase the pace under Luis Saez. #3 Demolition Duke (6-1) rolled home from off the pace in his Fair Grounds sprint bow, and the runner-up was a next-out winner. He stalked and missed by a neck second time out, and Brad Cox excels with his second route starters. Prat wins races with this barn. #6 Disarm (7-2) fired trifecta shots in all four starts and earned his best speed rating yet in a runner-up finish in the LA Derby (G2). He can quality for the Kentucky Derby with a Top 3 finish. #8 Empirestrikesfast (4-1) chased the pace and gamely prevailed in his dirt route bow March 11, and runner-up Dreamlike returned to finish a solid 3rd in the Wood Memorial (G2). Mike Maker’s promising Empire Maker gelding might be this good. #11 Arabian Lion (7-2) gets one last chance to route for Baffert. He reconnects with Ortiz Jr. and is training forwardly for this. He should impact the pace. Wagers: #5 to Win, Exacta 3-5/3-5-6, Trifecta 3-5-8-11/3-5-8-11/6
