Check out my Santa Anita Park race 3 analysis for 1-6-24 below.

SA 3 (OC-80k/2x, 6T)
Primary – #3 CARMEN MIRANDA, #2 Kitty Kitana
Secondary – #4 She’s Got a Way
Wagers: #3 to win, Exacta 3-2, Trifecta key 3/2-4

Comments: #3 Carmen Miranda (9-5) is a fairly reliable CA-bred mare for D’Amato. She exits a show finish in the Betty Grable, and she won a local turf sprint last spring. This race has a murky pace scenario and this one should be in the hunt throughout under Prat. Carmen Miranda’s stablemate #2 Kitty Kitana (6-5) was a gem of consistency before pulling up and walking off in the G2 Buena Vista last March. She misfired in back-to-back optional-claiming races after that, and found consistency again in her last two underneath finishes. She frequently takes money but is just 2-for-14 with nine minor awards. #4 She’s Got a Way (5-2) had her 5-race trifecta streak come to an end when finishing an even 4th in a 5T affair at DMR Nov. 11. She rallied to win a local 5.5T affair last March.
