Check out my Race 8 analysis for 3-10-24 below.

SA 8 (Mcl-50k, CA-bred, 5.5f) – SA Best Bet
Primary – #8 FINAL STORM, #4 Dance Man
Secondary – #7 Last Call Paul, #1 Cody Boy

Wagers: #8 to win, Exacta 4-8/4-7-8, Trifecta 1-4-8/1-4-8/7

Comments: #8 Final Storm (5-2) was a solid third in his state bred MSW bow at LRC in December. I made him my top choice Jan. 7 and he chased the pace and weakened at 15-1 odds. The drop makes sense and he should be competitive for quality conditioner Pederson. #4 Dance Man (3-1) was unplaced in both MSW starts, and he ran last in the same Jan. 7 race Final Storm exits. Prat ends up here and this one is training steadily for this. #7 Last Call Paul (4-1) is 0-for-4 with four minor placings. He chased the pace and finished a clear third in a similar local sprint Feb. 17. #1 Cody Boy (6-1) dropped into a maiden claiming race and was clearly second best after setting the pace from the inside post Jan. 12, and chased the pace and eased as a 16-1 longshot in a MSW affair last time. Fresu figures to get aggressive from the inside post.
