Check out my Monday (4-8-24) Race 9 analysis at Parx below.

PRX 9 (Str-OC-16k, 1 mile 70 yards)
Primary – #7 VINE JET, #1 Little Demon
Secondary – #3 Yes Sir Colonel, #2 Kingsville

Horse Comments:

#7 Vine Jet (5-1) was right there in his last three local routes. He was claimed out of his last pair and Ernesto Padilla-Preciado is his new conditioner. He earned a quality speed rating in a facile wire job vs. $5k claimers on March 11, and the show finisher was a next-out winner.

#4 Little Demon (4-1) ran last in a disappointing effort at 3-1 odds in a $40k claiming affair on March 20. He fits with these on his best day and will probably show early speed.

#3 Yes Sir Colonel (9-2) was claimed for $15k late last year and fired in both starts at this course and distance in 2024. He rallied wide to win by a neck on the slop on Jan. 29, and closed from last and missed by a neck on a fast track Feb. 19.

#2 Kingsville (8-1) came running in the stretch and tallied by a neck at 10-1 odds in a $15k claimer on March 25. Vine Jet’s stablemate can make an impact if he is able to run two alike.

Wagers:

#7 to win
