Horse Comments:
#1 Chismosa (4-1) switches surfaces and that is a good thing. She is 0-for-6 on turf and 4-for-10 on fast dirt, and is 2-for-2 at this distance.
#4 Anywho (5-2) misfired in both dirt route stakes but her sprint form is outstanding. She won her first two sprints last year including one at Santa Anita. She stalked and missed by a neck in a dirt sprint at Del Mar last summer, and returned with a dirt sprint romp in the slop at Churchill on May 17 (first start in 8+ months). Antonio Fresu takes the call and this is a great spot to pick up her first stakes victory if she avoids a regression (back in 16 days).
#6 Richi (2-1) is 6-for-9 with two runner-up finishes. Bob Baffert has the South American import now and she turns back in her first start of the year. She drilled a gate bullet for this on May 20 and Juan Hernandez wins races with this outfit.
#5 Delitefull Hart (5-1) smartly won her bow at Santa Anita last May. She rallied to finish a clear, distant third second time out, and was off for 9+ months after that. She was the even money favorite in her 6 1/2 furlong return on April 4 and she rallied for the win (runner-up next-out winner). She can get a piece of this.
