#2 Sterling Silver (7-2) stretches out in her third start after a layoff for Bill Mott. She won three races last year and picked up a victory in an extended sprint in her first start of 2024 at seven panels in March. She dropped her last four outings but three of those were graded races. She will try to get involved from off the pace.
#5 Bustin Bay (8-1) makes her third start after a layoff for Linda Rice. She has a good overall record at this course and distance, and Irad ortiz Jr. hops aboard and should put her in the race early.
