#5 Sweet Azteca (2-5) is a complete standout in this race. She is 4-for-5 overall and her lone loss was a show finish behind Chismosa in her second career start. She won her last three starts including stakes wins in the G1 Beholder Mile and G2 Great Lady M. She is 2-for-2 at this distance and she won those races by a combined 17 lengths. This is her first local try and she sports four DMR works for this including a pair of bullets. Flavien Prat is 2-for-2 with her.
#2 Chismosa (5-1) rallied to win the Desert Stormer at SA on June 2, and she broke slow, made a wide early move, and weakened to 7th of 10 in the G2 Great Lady M at LRC on July 6. She is 3-for-5 with a runner-up finish at DMR and might be able to rebound and complete the exacta.
