#5 Run Away Rojo (9-2) is a 5-time local winner with a strong record at this distance (6 4-2-0). He exits back-to-back local dirt route wins and should make his presence felt from the outset under Tyler Gaffalione. The fresh gelding drilled a bullet for this on Sept. 26.
#4 Demolisher (5-2) won all four local state bred starts. He cruised in back-to-back dirt sprints to begin his career, and stretched out, stalked the pace, and won a stakes race by a length at 9-1 odds on July 31. The runner-up was a next-out winner and this gelding switched surfaces and won a turf route stakes race at 6-1 odds on Aug. 21. He fired a local bullet for this on Sept. 20 and should be forwardly placed.
#10 Zolo (7-2) is 7-for-12 at Horseshoe Indy and 3-for-4 at this trip, and he exits a show finish behind Demolisher in a turf route stakes. The versatile gelding won his last two local dirt starts.
#9 Highest Memories (8-1) is a head away from five straight wins. He exits a stakes victory at this course and distance at 9-1 odds, and he is sharp enough to win again.
#2 Mowins (10-1) exits an okay show finish in a fast local sprint and the runner-up was a next-out winner. He has struck four times locally and twice at this distance, and the price should be square.
