Check out my Tuesday (10-29-24) Parx Racing Race 9 analysis below.
PRX 9 (OC-16k/1x, 1 mile 70 yards dirt) – Post Time 4:20 PM ET
Primary – #3 KINDRED HEARTS, #6 Nature’s Candy
Secondary – #7 Amaterasu, #1 Girlfromouterspace
Horse Comments:
#3 Kindred Hearts (5-1) improved her speed ratings in all four starts and the show finisher from her last was a next-out winner. The sophomore filly stretches back out and projects a stalking trip at a hint of a price for a productive jockey-trainer team.
#6 Nature’s Candy (3-1) was part of the trifecta in her first six starts including a clear, distant show finish in a local off the turf state bred stakes route Aug. 26. She set a slow pace and faded to last in the Plum Pretty Sept. 21, and blew the break and split a 10-horse field in an OC-17k/1x turf route Oct. 11. She owns competitive ratings and should attend the pace if she breaks cleanly. Barn shows a profit in route races.
#7 Amaterasu (9-2) stalked from the inside post as the even money favorite and she won by 4 1/4 lengths Oct. 22, and the sharp mare confidently climbs the ladder.
#1 Girlfromouterspace (5-1) dropped into a $25k claimer and landed the show, and she was nabbed out of that heat by a sharp outfit. She figures to save ground behind the speed and should be in the mix turning for home. She won three races last year but is 0-for-4 with four show finishes in 2024.
