#6 Boss Sully (7-2) returned from a long layoff and dueled and scored by a half-length at this course/distance in an OC-40k/1x affair Aug. 17. He pressed and weakened to 8th of 11 in the Eddie D (G2) Sept. 28. He projects an early-pressing trip from the outside post under his winning rider Armando Ayuso. He might get the first run and if he does, it might be too late for the closers to react.
#5 Tigerhon (5-2) competed in a trio of local 5T events during the summer meet. He rallied to win an OC-40k/1x affair July 20 and clicked right back in a $50k claimer Aug. 22. He rallied for the show in an OC-80k event when last seen Sept. 6. Umberto Rispoli strings along and he needs pace to chase.
#3 Sigiloso (9-2) rallied for the show behind Tigerhon Aug. 22 and Vladimir Cerin claimed him for $50k that day. He fired trifecta shots in 7 of his last 8 starts and he will try to get involved from off the pace under Kazushi Kimura. He landed the show in both local turf starts and is 0-for-5 with a trio of show finishes at this distance.
#1 Irideo (3-1) might run out of ground at 5T. He rallied from last of 4 to win an allowance event at 6T Oct. 27. Hector Berrios sticks and he needs pace to chase.
