#1 Flashy Lass (3-1) won both local flat mile starts by a combined 13 3/4 lengths. She drilled a local bullet for this Dec. 1 and her new rider Stewart Elliott should have early-pressing options from the inside post.
#2 Bru Na Boinne (5-2) was part of the trifecta in 7 of her last 9 starts. She won her last two starts on the main track and has a good record at this distance (4 2-1-1). Her new rider Jose Alvarez shows a profit in routes and he wins races with Bret Calhoun.
#7 Corningstone (2-1) finished in the top three in 8 of her last 9 starts and Ken McPeek’s consistent filly owns running style versatility. She was the betting favorite on four occasions this year and she lost three of those races.
