#2 Promissio (6-1) is a first time gelding for Doug O’Neill. He won two local flat mile turf races last year including a victory under Friday’s rider Antonio Fresu in May.
#7 Zalamo (5-2) landed the place in two of his last three flat mile turf starts vs. this kind. Frankie Dettori takes the call and this is his second start after a layoff.
#8 Rastaman Vibe (3-1) rallied for the show in a similar local 8T affair Jan. 1. He is 0-for-9 with three show finishes at SA, and 1-for-9 with a runner-up finish and four show finishers at 8T.
