Check out my Friday (2-7-25) Santa Anita Park Race 9 analysis below.

SA 9 (MOC-62.5k, 6.5f) – Post Time 7:39 PM ET
Primary – #8 ALLIHIES, #7 No Bad Beats
Secondary – #6 Joyful Mischief

Horse Comments:

#8 Allihies (6-1) is a first timer for Adam Kitchingman and Frankie Dettori takes the call. She sports three gate moves for this at San Luis Rey and might hit the ground running.

#7 No Bad Beats (2-1) battled on the pace and was second best in her first two dirt sprints at DMR and was the beaten favorite both times. She was the favorite again at 6T Jan. 19 and chased outside and split an 8-horse field. Juan Hernandez takes the call and she drilled a 4f gate bullet for this Feb. 2 (best of 84).

#6 Joyful Mischief (6-1) rallied to hit the board in both MSW dirt sprints at PLN. She was 40-1 in her debut and 3-1 second time out.
