Check out my Wednesday (3-26-25) Gulfstream Park Race 6 analysis below.
GP 6 (Str-OC-20k, fillies and mares, 1 1/16 miles all-weather) – Post Time 3:30 PM ET
Primary – #8 WICKED MERCURY, #4 Sarah’s Dream
Secondary – #5 Lady Emily Kathryn
Horse Comments:
#8 Wicked Mercury (5-2) is back on all-weather ground in her third start after a layoff. She has a strong synthetic record (13 5-4-2) and finished 1-2 in all four starts at this course and distance. Tyler Gaffalione is her new rider and he is a profitable 27% with Martin Drexler.
#4 Sarah’s Dream (8-5) won all three local synthetic routes. She moves from turf to synthetic in her second start after a layoff, and she is a logical contender from off the pace as the favorite.
#5 Lady Emily Kathryn (7-2) returned to all-weather ground and easily wired the field as the strong favorite in a $12.5k/3L route Jan. 29. Ortiz Jr. takes the call and he guided her home in a local MSW turf route last year.
