#8 Obliging (3-1) won her dirt sprint bow and lost all seven starts since, and four of those losses were stakes races. She returned to dirt and finished 4th of 5 on Feb. 12, and Jorge Delgado is a profitable 24% with this type of short layoff runner. An outside early-pressing is expected.
#6 Andrea (2-1) wired the field in her first two starts including a stakes win in the Hallandale Beach. She was off her game in her last three stakes starts, and she adds lasix, drops in class, and is entered for the $75k tag. She should be all over the pace.
#4 Madam Mitole (5-2) added lasix, dropped into a maiden claimer, and aired as the even money favorite Jan. 26. She stalked and faded to last of 6 as the beaten favorite over a route of ground March 21. She might bounce back in this sprint race.
#2 Junta (6-1) stalked and scored in her course/distance bow, and chased the pace and faded to last of 8 in the Suncoast second time out. She turned back and finished an even 5th of 8 March 7, and she might go better in his second start after a layoff.
