#12 Kilwin (8-1) stalked and scored as the favorite in her turf sprint bow at this distance. The 2-3 finishers were next-out winners, and this one clicked right back from off the pace as the favorite in the Untapable at Kentucky Downs. She stretched out, chased the pace, and ended up 5th of 14 in the G1 BC Juvenile Fillies Turf in November. Rusty Arnold’s $225k Twirling Candy filly drilled a 5f bullet for this March 18.
#10 Laurice (8-1) rallied for the show in the Melody of Colors at 5T March 23. She graduated at this distance on turf, Flavien Prat hops aboard the versatile filly, and she might offer wagering value.
#4 Abientot (9-2) stalked the pace from post 10 before fading to last of 14 in the G1 BC Juvenile Fillies Turf. She won two turf sprints last year including a closing victory in the G3 Matron. Mark Casse’s filly rallied for the show behind Kilwin in the Untapable.
#6 Shisospicy (4-1) finished in the top three in all four starts. She switched to turf and earned her best number yet in a front running optional-claiming tally as the favorite at five panels on Feb. 5. Irad Ortiz Jr. got to know her last time and she should make her presence felt from the outset.
#9 Dreamaway (5-1) battled on the pace and prevailed by a head as the favorite in her local dirt sprint bow last spring. She cruised in the Colleen on turf second time out, and set the pace and weakened to 3rd of 5 as the beaten chalk when last seen in the Speakeasy at SA (October 2024). She removes blinkers and drilled a local 5f bullet for this March 26. She should be forwardly placed.
