Check out my Wednesday (4-23-25) Keeneland Race 7 analysis below.

KEE 7 (OC-80k/2x, fillies and mares, 1 1/16 miles dirt) – Post Time  4:12 PM ET
Primary – #1 CHILLED, #6 Landed
Secondary – #5 Little Jamie

Horse Comments:

#1 Chilled (3-1) ran well in her last four dirt routes in Kentucky. She returned from a layoff and was disqualified and placed second in the local slop April 6. Victoria Oliver shows a profit with horses making their second start after a layoff. She reunites with her winning rider Luis Saez and he is enjoying a fine meet.

#6 Landed (5-2) was part of the trifecta in all eight starts and she won five of those races. She wired the field in a local optional-claiming route last spring, and won back-to-back NY-bred stakes races at SAR after that. She landed the show in her final 2024 start and began her current campaign with a front running extended sprint win in the Broadway at AQU Feb. 23. She stretches back out and is probably the one to catch.

#5 Little Jamie (7-2) moves to the Correas barn and Jose Ortiz takes the call. She faced stakes foes in five of her last six starts and won the Wayward Lass at TAM Jan. 11. She exits an even fourth in the G3 Bayakoa and should be competitive in this optional-claiming route.
