#4 G T Five Hundred (7-2) exits a clear show finish in the mud at OP. He has stuck five times at this distance including a facile wire job as the favorite at AQU in February. Juan Hernandez is a profitable 2-for-12 with Mike Maker.
#6 March of Time (8-5) was the favorite in all three starts under Juan Hernandez. He stalked from the inside post and was clearly second best in his bow (December 2023), and was off for more than a year and added lasix and graduated by 2 1/4 lengths second time out (December 2024). He was 1-2 when last seen Jan. 24 and he stalked wide and missed by a neck. Irad Ortiz, Jr. is his new pilot and he projects a stalking trip. The California shipper worked 3f at CD April 25.
#7 Rocketeer (4-1) smartly won his extended sprint bow in 2023 and lost all five starts at longer distances since (3 minor awards). Saffie Joseph, Jr. excels with new additions to his barn and he fired a 3f bullet for this in Florida April 24.
#2 Pentathlon (5-1) battled on the pace and finished 5th of 12 in his needed extended sprint return April 8. His winning rider Joel Rosario stays put and he should be forwardly placed.
