Horse Comments:
#1 Sneaker (3-1) won three turf races in 2024 and ended the year with a runner-up finish at DMR in November. She stalked the pace and was best of the rest in third in her Irish O’Brien return at 6.5T March 16, and stretched back out and rallied for the show after a troubled start in the G3 Royal Heroine at 8T April 26. She will probably be forwardly placed from the inside post under Kazushi Kimura if she gets out of the gate in good order.
#6 Shocking Grey (9-2) won two local flat mile turf races in 2023. She started 2025 with a stalking win in the Sunshine Filly & Mare Turf Sprint on the downhill course in January, and was a disappointing 5th of 7 as the beaten favorite in the Irish O’Brien in March. Last time, she rallied from post 11 to miss the show by a head at 6.5T on April 5. She stretches back out and is capable of winning this on her best day.
#3 Prancingthruparis (2-1) exits back-to-back wins. She set the pace and won by a neck at 8T as a 38-1 longshot Feb. 22, and turned back, stalked, and scored by a half-length at 11-1 odds in the Irish O’Brien at 6.5T March 16. She stretches back out and should be forwardly placed, and the odds will be much lower this time.
#4 Ashleys Sandcastle (8-1) rallied to beat race favorite Ultimate Hy in a state bred allowance turf route Jan. 31. Sharp turf rider Hector Berrios sticks and she will try to get involved from off the pace.
