Check out my Saturday (6-14-25) Santa Anita Park Race 10 analysis below.

SA 10 (G3 Daytona, 6.5T hillside) – Post Time 8:08 PM ET
Primary – #2 BRAN, #7 Motorious
Secondary – #5 Stay Hot, #8 Watsonville

Horse Comments:

#2 Bran (9-2) was part of the trifecta in nine of his last ten starts and he won four of those races (3 stakes races). He set a pressured pace and missed by a half-length in the Siren Lure May 10 and that was his first start in 9+ months. His winning rider Umberto Rispoli stays put and he likes this course and distance.

#7 Motorious (6-5) won two graded turf sprints in 2023 (G3 San Simeon, G3 Green Flash), and captured the G3 Green Flash and G2 Joe Hernandez last year. This is his first start since December and he drilled a 5f bullet for this May 25. He runs well fresh and his winning rider Antonio Fresu is 36% with Phil D’Amato.

#5 Stay Hot (6-1) captured three stakes races as a sophomore in 2024. He likes this turf course (6 3-2-0) and won the Baffle Stakes in his lone start at this distance.

#8 Watsonville (30-1) is a first time gelding and he drilled a 5f gate bullet for this June 7. Mark Glatt is good with this type of layoff runner and this one rallied for the place in his lone attempt at this distance.
