Horse Comments:
#4 Quantum Innergy (3-1) turns back in distance for +ROI turf/dirt trainer Antonio Garcia. She is 2-for-2 at LRC and 1-for-1 at this distance. She reconnects with her winning rider Armando Ayuso.
#7 Oveta’s Hobby (7-2) finished out of the trifecta once in seven starts. She made the lead and aired by a dozen lengths in a local Mcl-50k affair at 5.5f late last year, and clicked right back in a dirt sprint at SA in January. The sophomore filly hit the board in her last two dirt sprints and is back on the main track in her second start after a short layoff. She reconnects with her winning rider Juan Hernandez and she should be all over the pace.
#6 Wishtheyallcouldbe (5-2) had her 11-race trifecta streak come to an end when racing wide and splitting an 8-horse field at SA on May 30. She has won here before and usually runs her race at this distance (8 3-4-1).
#2 Running Super (8-1) is 0-for-3 on turf so her last of 7 finish at 6T on May 25 can be tossed. She won both dirt sprints at this distance at SA in February and March, and she landed the place in her lone local attempt (December 2024).
#5 Lovin’ On the Run (9-2) ran well in her last two turf sprints. Doug O’Neill is a profitable 29% second after the claim and she is 0-for-4 with two show finishes on fast dirt.
