Horse Comments:
#5 Fibonaccis Ride (7-2) was 2-1 in her local 5f bow last September and she went straight to the front and aired by 6 lengths. She added lasix and was the favorite in her SA return at this distance on May 3, and she made the lead and was clearly second best as the favorite. She stretched out in the Melair and failed to see out the distance on May 24. She is back in a preferred sprint in her third start after a long layoff. She has been stabled at Los Alamitos all along and should be right up on the pace.
#9 Bit’s Tiger Magic (2-1) was 60 cents on the dollar in her dirt sprint bow at SA March 17 and she set the pace and held the place, and the winner clicked right back. She switched to turf and romped by 7 lengths on April 7, and held on by a half-length as the even money favorite at 6.5T on June 1. She was the chalk in all three starts and make the lead each time. Hernandez is 2-for-2 with her and she might be the one to catch.
#8 Musical Number (8-1) is back on dirt in her second start after a short layoff. She won back-to-back dirt sprints to begin her career including a course/distance maiden victory in her career debut. Pederson is clicking at a 27% rate this year and is 6-for-16 with his turf/dirt starters.
#1 Can’t Sleep (5-2) ran well in all three starts at 6.5T and earned a competitive number in a stalk and pounce victory when last seen in January.
