Check out my Friday (7-25-25) Del Mar Race 3 analysis below.

DMR 3 (Mcl-50k, CA-bred, 5f) – Post Time 8:04 PM ET
Primary – #2 CHICA TIGRE, #1 That Ain’t Right
Secondary – #7 Coastal Fire, #5 Priscilla

Horse Comments:

#2 Chica Tigre (7-2) was 5-1 in her MSW dirt sprint bow at EMD and she stalked inside and ended up a solid 3rd of 8. Falling Leaves set the pace and won that race by 4+ lengths and she easily went all the way again in the Angie C. Stakes on July 20. Blaine Wright is 27% with MSW droppers and she should be competitive in this spot.

#1 That Ain’t Right (3-1) had an uncomfortable start and trip when splitting an 8-horse field from the inside post in h SA bow May 24, and she chased wide and split a 10-horse field from an outer post second time out. She drops in for a tag and Sherman is 24% with his first time maiden claiming runners. Kazushi Kimora strings along and dam has tossed three winners from five starters.

#7 Coastal Fire (6-1) debuts for Koriner and he is a profitable 16 % with FTS. Straight Fire is a 21% win early sire and dam has produced four winners from as many starters (1 stakes winner). She worked a half-mile from the gate June 26.

#5 Priscilla (6-1) was 7th of 10 from the inside post in her CA-bred MSW debut June 14. Andy Mathis has good stats with second timers and he is a strong 28% with special weight droppers.
